What is the emergency device of the SOPOCAR electric tailgate?

Some people worry about the electric product doesn't work in some emergency situation. So mostly the designer will set a emergency device for manual control. SOPOCAR's eletric tailgate also has this device.

There is a yellow rope on the lock. It can unlock and open the tailgate by pull this rope.
